Parl Studio – Rental Terms & Conditions (UK, Northern
Ireland & Republic of Ireland)

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between Parl Studio (“we”,
“us”, “our”) and the individual or entity (“you”, “the renter”, “the client”) who rents or agrees
to rent any product through our website, social media platforms, or any Parl Studio channel.
By clicking “I agree” and proceeding with a rental, you confirm that you have read,
understood, and accepted these Terms in full.

1. Definitions
Item / Product / Bag – any handbag, accessory, or product rented from Parl Studio.
Rental Period – the period of time for which the item is rented (3, 10, or 21 days).
Dispatch Date – the date the item is shipped from Parl Studio.
Return Date – the date the renter must send the item back using the provided return
label.
Security Deposit – the refundable amount held by Parl Studio to cover damage, loss,
or late return.
RRP – the full retail value of the item, used to calculate liability in the event of loss
or damage.

2. Eligibility
You must:
Be 18 years or older.
Reside in the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland, or the Republic of Ireland.
Provide valid photo identification, a delivery address, and payment details before a
rental is approved.
Agree that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
Parl Studio reserves the right to decline or cancel any rental request at our discretion.

3. Rental Period and How It Works
Your rental begins on the day you receive the bag (as confirmed by courier tracking).
You are responsible for ensuring the item is returned or scanned by the courier on or
before the final day of your rental period.
Example Rental Periods
Rental Option When It Arrives When You Must Return It Total Days in Your Care
3-Day Rental Delivered Day 1 Return by end of Day 3 3 days
10-Day Rental Delivered Day 1 Return by end of Day 10 10 days
21-Day Rental Delivered Day 1 Return by end of Day 21 21 days
Example:
If your 3-day rental starts on Monday (delivery day), you must post it back by Wednesday
evening using the prepaid return label.
If your 10-day rental starts on Monday, return it by the following Wednesday week.
The return must be scanned by the courier by the end of the final day.
Shipping days are not included in your rental period.
We ship the item 1–2 days before your rental start date, depending on your location, to
ensure it arrives on time.

4. Delivery & Return
Parl Studio will send items via tracked, insured courier.
You must use the prepaid return label provided and post the bag on or before your
final rental day.
The bag must be packaged in the original Parl Studio packaging (dust bag and
shipping box).
If using an alternative courier, you accept full responsibility for loss or delays.
Late returns will incur:
£25 / €30 per day late fee, or
10% of the rental price per day (whichever is greater).
If the delay exceeds 5 days, you will be charged the full retail value (RRP).

5. Security Deposit &Payment
Some items may require a refundable deposit (stated on each listing).
Payment must be made in full before dispatch.
Deposits are refunded within 5–7 business days after the item is returned and
inspected.

 Damage, loss, or late return fees will be deducted from your deposit or charged to
your payment card.

6. Condition Report (Pre-Rental Inspection)
Each Parl Studio item is photographed and inspected before every rental.
A Condition Report Sheet (similar to a car rental inspection) is completed and included with
your bag.
This document includes:
Photographs of the item before dispatch.
Notes of any existing marks, scratches, or wear.
Space for you to note any visible issues upon arrival.
You must:
Inspect the item on delivery.
Email us within 4 hours of delivery if you notice any damage not listed on the report.
Failure to do so will be deemed acceptance that the item was received in the stated
condition.

7. Care &Use
You agree to:
Keep items away from liquids, makeup, perfume, and oils.
Avoid exposure to rain or extreme heat.
Not overfill or bend the bag out of shape.
Never attempt to clean, polish, or repair the bag yourself.
If a problem arises, contact Parl Studio immediately.

8. Damage, Stains, or Loss
You are fully responsible for the item during your rental.
If the item is:
Slightly marked or stained – cleaning fee up to £40 / €50 may apply.
Significantly damaged – repair fee charged based on professional assessment.
Lost, stolen, or irreparably damaged – full RRP of the item will be charged.
We will provide documentation of all repair or replacement costs.

9. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancel more than 7 days before dispatch → Full refund.
Cancel within 7 days of dispatch → 50% refund (if not yet shipped).
No refunds once the item has been shipped.
If an item arrives late due to courier delay, your rental period will be adjusted accordingly.

10. Ownership & Restrictions
All items remain the exclusive property of Parl Studio.
You may not:
Sub-rent, resell, or loan the item.
Use the item for commercial shoots, resale, or promotional activity without written
permission.

11. Photography & Content Use
By tagging @parlstudio or using associated hashtags, you grant Parl Studio permission to
repost or share your content for marketing purposes (with credit).

12. Liability
Parl Studio is not liable for:
Indirect or consequential losses.
Event cancellations or outfit changes affecting your use of the item.
Our total liability is limited to the rental fee paid.

13. Privacy & Data
We comply with UK GDPR, the UK Data Protection Act 2018, and the Irish Data
Protection Act 2018.
Personal data is used only for rental verification, payment, and delivery.

14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of:

 Northern Ireland for rentals made in Northern Ireland or the UK, and
The Republic of Ireland for rentals made in Ireland.
Any disputes will be handled in the respective jurisdiction.

15. Agreement
By checking the box that states
“I have read and agree to Parl Studio’s Rental Terms & Conditions,”
you confirm your full acceptance of these Terms and agree to be bound by them.
