Terms of Services

1.  These terms and conditions of service apply to the purchase of goods listed in our
quotation by the buyer (you) from Parl Studio Limited (us) of Alexandra House, 2
Church Street, Warrenpoint, Co Down BT34 3HN.

2. By using the Parl Studio site and/or service you are confirming that you have read
and agree to be bound by these terms of service.

3. These terms and conditions of service will be deemed to have been accepted by
you when you accept our quotation or from the date of any delivery of goods
(whichever takes place first) and constitutes the entire agreement between Parl
Studio (us) and you.

4.Headings are for reference purposes only and do not limit the scope or extent of
such section.

5.The seller acknowledges that Parl Studio (us) reserves the right to refuse service,
suspend contract or limit use to any person found to have violated or misused the
terms set out from Parl Studio (us) in its sole discretion.

6. Parl Studio(us) do not have any partnership, affiliation or association with the
brands we sell. All items are pre-loved.

GOODS

7.The description of the Goods set out in our documentation are set out as a guide of
quality.

8.Parl Studio (us) can make any changes to specifications of the description of
Goods if applicable.

PRICING

9.The price of goods is set out in our quotation and will be in order with the price
agreed in writing. Items will have the standard rate of VAT added to the agreed price
on our website.

10.Any increase or decrease in the price will only take place after Parl Studio (us)
have told you (seller) about it.

11.The price of the item(s) is exclusive of fees for delivery/transportation.

12.If external factors beyond our control increase the cost of goods to Parl Studio
(us) due to changes in delivery rates, labour costs, material costs or alteration rates
or duties, we can increase price prior to the delivery of goods.

13.Any price reduction of goods below the original agreed/contractual price which
could take place after the consignment period ends, will be agreed in advance with
the seller should the choose for Parl Studio (us) to continue selling the goods on
their behalf.

14.The listed item(s) price is inclusive of statutory VAT and other taxes which are
imposed or charged by external authorities.

PAYMENT

15.All payments must be paid in British Pounds unless otherwise agreed in writing
with Parl Studio (us).

INSPECTION &ACCEPTANCE OF GOODS
16.Once Parl Studio (us) receive the goods, the condition will be assessed, and the
seller will be notified if it (goods) varies from the original description and/or images
provided.

17.It is the buyers responsibility to inspect the goods on delivery.

RETURNS

18.E-mails with any questions regarding the goods authenticity, design, fabric,
condition etc must be made before purchasing goods. All sales are final.

19.Other than by agreement, Parl Studio (us) will only accept the return of purchased
goods if we are satisfied that said goods are inauthentic.

20.The returned item must not have cigarette smoke, cooking smells or perfume
odour.

21.If a returned item is misplaced during the postage stage, the customer bares
responsibility to investigate the matter with said postal service.

22.Parl Studio (us) do not offer refunds on shipping costs. The buyer (you) bares the
risk and cost of returning the goods to Parl Studio (us).

23.Parl Studio (us) bare no risk to damage or loss of goods in transit to or from Parl
Studio HQ.

24.All Parl Studio purchases are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.

25.If a returned item has met the criteria and has been accepted by Parl Studio (us)
your refund can take up to 10 working days to be processed.

*For any items ordered before Christmas and eligible for return per conditions,
please note that Parl Studio will be closed from December 24 th through January 2 nd .
Parl Studio therefore request that such items are not to be returned until January
2 nd /3 rd .

CONSIGNMENT
26.The consignor hereby represents and warrants that they hold full title to the
consigned items and should therefore continue to insure the consigned items until
the point of sale through Parl Studio (us).

27.The consignor is over the age of 18

28.The consignor agrees that Parl Studio (us) will set the selling price on items.
* VAT will be added onto the stated consignment fee and charged to the buyer. The
rate of VAT applied is currently 16.67% using the HMRC VAT Margin Scheme. The
rate is subject to change from HMRC.

** The listed price for buyers will differ than the ‘agreed price’ to accommodate VAT.

29.The consignment fee is payable once the consignment item is sold and will be
retained from the sellers proceeds.

30.The consignor will be paid the proceeds less the consignment fee, within 14
working days of the consigned item(us) selling. Parl Studio (us) will get in contact for
payment details once your consigned item(s) have sold.

31.It is the consignor’s responsibility for payment of delivery of the consignment
item(s) to Parl Studio (us) HQ.

32.The consignor hereby warrants that the consigned items are authentic and
agrees that a £45 processing fee will be charged to them if said item is found to be
unauthentic. The item will be returned to the seller at the seller’s expense once
processing fee has been received.

33.If the consignor chooses to withdraw their item(s) from Parl Studio (us) before the
consignment contract period ends, the consignment fee remains payable to Parl
Studio (us) from the consignor.

34.It is the consignor’s responsibility to ensure that the item(s) are as described
when sent to Parl Studio (us).

35.The consignor agrees that all written information on the consignment contract is
accurate.

36.After the consignment contract period of 8 weeks end, the seller can remove
consigned item(s) from sale at any time. At this time, the item(s) will be made
available for collection by the seller.

37.Consignor acknowledges that if the item(s) have not sold after the 8 week period
they must be collected, postage arranged or sale reduction price agreed.

38.The selling price will be set and agreed between both parties. You (consignor)
and Parl Studio (us) before listing the item for sale on www.parlstudio.com or at our
Pop up events.

39.The consignor agrees that any item(s) they are selling through/with Parl Studio
(us) have been acquired legally and are not counterfeit products. Parl studio (us) will
only sell an authentic item(s).

40.If the consignor chooses to have the item(s) back after the contracted timeframe
expires and they remain unsold, the seller must arrange collection or pay Parl Studio
(us) for postage within 14 working days. If collection is not organised within said
timeframe, the item(s) become property of Parl Studio (us) and will be donated to
charity.

41.If you have any concerns or questions about these points, please do ask us on
support@parlstudio.com before sending your item(s) to us.

ITEM BUY-OUT/CASH UP-FRONT

42.The seller agrees that the cash price offered for said item(s) will be lower than
that of available consignment prices from Parl Studio.

43.The seller acknowledges that once your item(s) is sold to Parl Studio (us), we
have the right to price item(s) at our discretion.

44.The seller agrees that once the item(s) is sold to Parl Studio (us) it is the property
of Parl Studio (us).

AUTHENTICATION

45.Brands identified on the Parl Studio website are not involved in the authentication
of the item(s) being sold.

46.None of the brands identified on the site assumes responsibilities for any
products purchased through the Parl Studio website.

47.If a buyer has any issues with the authenticity of an acquired item brought
through Parl Studio (us), they are required to contact Parl Studio (us) in a prompt
manner. Upon submission of substantial evidence supporting the claim of
unauthenticity, refund equivalent to 100% of the purchase amount will be issued to
the customer.

1) In the improbable scenario of a sale of an inauthentic item, you will
receive a full refund, including the cost of return.

2) All sales are final and non-refundable with the exception of authenticity
issues.

DELIVERY
48.Parl Studio (us) will arrange for the delivery of the item(s) to the respective buyer
once the item(s) have sold.

49.Item(s) will be delivered to the address specified in the quotation or to another
location agreed with in writing.

50.Delivery can take place at any time of the day and must be accepted at any time
between 8am-8pm.

51.If you do not take the delivery of the item(s), we can at our discretion hold or
arrange for the storage of said item(s). The buyer (you) will be charged for
associated expenses and costs. This may include, but will not be limited to, storage
and transportation costs.
52.If redelivery is not possible, you must collect the item(s) from Parl Studio HQ or
arrange for collection.

RISK AND TITLE

53.Parl Studio (us) bare no risk or responsibility to damage or loss of goods in transit
to or from Parl Studio HQ.

54.The risk of goods will pass on to the buyer (you) on completion of delivery.

55.Title of goods will not pass on to the buyer until we have received payment in full
(in cash or cleared funds).

TERMINATION

56. Parl Studio (us) can terminate the sale of item(s) under contract where you
commit a material breach of your obligations under the Parl Studio Ltd Terms and
Conditions.

DATA PROTECTION

57.For the avoidance of doubt, ‘Personal Data’ , ‘Data Controller’, ‘Data Subject’ ,
Processing’ and ‘Data Processor’ shall have the same meaning as in the GDPR.

58.Parl Studio (us) and the seller agree that where such processing of personal data
takes place, the seller (you) shall be the ‘data processor’ and the buyer shall be the
‘data controller’ as defined in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
59.Parl Studio (us) shall only process personal data reasonably required to enable it
to provide the goods mentioned in these terms and conditions.

SEVERANCE

60.If one or more of Parl Studio Ltd (us) Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid,
unenforceable or unlawful, that/those provisions will be deemed severed from the
Terms and Conditions (which remain enforceable and valid).

WAIVER

61.No waver by Parl Studio (us) of any breach of these Terms and Conditions by the
buyer (you) shall be considered as a waiver of any subsequent breach.

ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

62.When you visit Parl Studio or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us
electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will
communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on this site. You agree that all
agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you
electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

COPYRIGHT
63.All content included on this site, such as text, graphics, logos, button icons,
images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the
property of Parl Studio Limited. or its content suppliers and protected by international
copyright laws. The compilation of all content on this site is the exclusive property
of Parl Studio with copyright authorship for this collection by Parl Studio, and
protected by international copyright laws.

TRADE MARKS

64.Parl Studio name and name dress may not be used in connection with any
product or service that is not Parl Studio, in any manner that is likely to cause
confusion among customers, or in any manner that disparages or discredits Parl
Studio. All other trademarks not owned by Parl Studio. or its subsidiaries that appear
on this site are the property of their respective owners, who are not be affiliated with,
connected to, or sponsored by Parl Studio or its subsidiaries.

LICENSE AND SITE ACCESS

65.Parl Studio grants you a limited license to access and make personal use of this
site and not to download (other than page caching) or modify it, or any portion of it,
except with express written consent of Parl Studio  This license does not include any
resale or commercial use of this site or its contents: any collection and use of any
product listings, descriptions, or prices: any derivative use of this site or its contents:
any downloading or copying of account information for the benefit of another
merchant: or any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction
tools. This site or any portion of this site may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied,
sold, resold, visited, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without
express written consent of Parl Studio.  You may not frame or utilise framing
techniques to enclose any trademark, logo, or other proprietary information
(including images, text, page layout, or form) of Parl Studio and our associates
without express written consent. You may not use any meta tags or any other
“hidden text” utilising Parl Studio name or trademarks without the express written
consent of Parl Studio.  Any unauthorised use terminates the permission or license
granted by Parl Studio.  You are granted a limited, revocable, and nonexclusive right
to create a hyperlink to the home page of Parl Studio so long as the link does not
portray Parl Studio and its associates, or their products or services in a false,

YOUR MEMBERSHIP ACCOUNT
66.If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your
account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to
accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. If
you are under 18, you may use our website only with involvement of a parent or
guardian. Parl Studio and its associates reserve the right to refuse service, terminate
accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders in their sole discretion.

REVIEWS, COMMENTS, EMAILS, AND OTHER CONTENT

67.Visitors may post reviews, comments, and other content: and submit suggestions,
ideas, comments, questions, or other information, so long as the content is not

illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, invasive of privacy, infringing of intellectual
property rights, or otherwise injurious to third parties or objectionable and does not
consist of or contain software viruses, political campaigning, commercial solicitation,
chain letters, mass mailings, or any form of “spam.” You may not use a false e-mail
address, impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise mislead as to the origin of a
card or other content. Parl Studio reserves the right (but not the obligation) to
remove or edit such content, but does not regularly review posted content. If you do
post content or submit material, and unless we indicate otherwise, you grant Parl
Studio and its associates a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and
fully sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create
derivative works from, distribute, and display such content throughout the world in
any media. You grant Parl Studio and its associates and sublicensees the right to
use the name that you submit in connection with such content, if they choose. You
represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the

Parl Studio – Rental Terms & Conditions (UK, Northern
Ireland & Republic of Ireland)

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between Parl Studio (“we”,
“us”, “our”) and the individual or entity (“you”, “the renter”, “the client”) who rents or agrees
to rent any product through our website, social media platforms, or any Parl Studio channel.
By clicking “I agree” and proceeding with a rental, you confirm that you have read,
understood, and accepted these Terms in full.

1. Definitions
 Item / Product / Bag – any handbag, accessory, or product rented from Parl Studio.
Rental Period – the period of time for which the item is rented (3, 10, or 21 days).
Dispatch Date – the date the item is shipped from Parl Studio.
Return Date – the date the renter must send the item back using the provided return
label.
Security Deposit – the refundable amount held by Parl Studio to cover damage, loss,
or late return.
RRP – the full retail value of the item, used to calculate liability in the event of loss
or damage.

2. Eligibility
You must:
Be 18 years or older.
Reside in the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland, or the Republic of Ireland.
Provide valid photo identification, a delivery address, and payment details before a
rental is approved.
Agree that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
Parl Studio reserves the right to decline or cancel any rental request at our discretion.

3. Rental Period and How It Works
Your rental begins on the day you receive the bag (as confirmed by courier tracking).
You are responsible for ensuring the item is returned or scanned by the courier on or
before the final day of your rental period.
Example Rental Periods
Rental Option When It Arrives When You Must Return It Total Days in Your Care
3-Day Rental Delivered Day 1 Return by end of Day 3 3 days
10-Day Rental Delivered Day 1 Return by end of Day 10 10 days
21-Day Rental Delivered Day 1 Return by end of Day 21 21 days
Example:
If your 3-day rental starts on Monday (delivery day), you must post it back by Wednesday
evening using the prepaid return label.
If your 10-day rental starts on Monday, return it by the following Wednesday week.
The return must be scanned by the courier by the end of the final day.
Shipping days are not included in your rental period.
We ship the item 1–2 days before your rental start date, depending on your location, to
ensure it arrives on time.

4. Delivery & Return
Parl Studio will send items via tracked, insured courier.
You must use the prepaid return label provided and post the bag on or before your
final rental day.
The bag must be packaged in the original Parl Studio packaging (dust bag and
shipping box).
 If using an alternative courier, you accept full responsibility for loss or delays.
Late returns will incur:
 £25 / €30 per day late fee, or
10% of the rental price per day (whichever is greater).
If the delay exceeds 5 days, you will be charged the full retail value (RRP).

5. Security Deposit &Payment
Some items may require a refundable deposit (stated on each listing).
Payment must be made in full before dispatch.
 Deposits are refunded within 5–7 business days after the item is returned and
inspected.

 Damage, loss, or late return fees will be deducted from your deposit or charged to
your payment card.

6. Condition Report (Pre-Rental Inspection)
Each Parl Studio item is photographed and inspected before every rental.
A Condition Report Sheet (similar to a car rental inspection) is completed and included with
your bag.
This document includes:
Photographs of the item before dispatch.
Notes of any existing marks, scratches, or wear.
Space for you to note any visible issues upon arrival.
You must:
Inspect the item on delivery.
Email us within 4 hours of delivery if you notice any damage not listed on the report.
Failure to do so will be deemed acceptance that the item was received in the stated
condition.

7. Care &Use
You agree to:
Keep items away from liquids, makeup, perfume, and oils.
Avoid exposure to rain or extreme heat.
Not overfill or bend the bag out of shape.
Never attempt to clean, polish, or repair the bag yourself.
If a problem arises, contact Parl Studio immediately.

8. Damage, Stains, or Loss
You are fully responsible for the item during your rental.
If the item is:
Slightly marked or stained – cleaning fee up to £40 / €50 may apply.
Significantly damaged – repair fee charged based on professional assessment.
Lost, stolen, or irreparably damaged – full RRP of the item will be charged.
We will provide documentation of all repair or replacement costs.

9. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancel more than 7 days before dispatch → Full refund.
Cancel within 7 days of dispatch → 50% refund (if not yet shipped).
No refunds once the item has been shipped.
If an item arrives late due to courier delay, your rental period will be adjusted accordingly.

10. Ownership & Restrictions
All items remain the exclusive property of Parl Studio.
You may not:
Sub-rent, resell, or loan the item.
Use the item for commercial shoots, resale, or promotional activity without written
permission.

11. Photography & Content Use
By tagging @parlstudio or using associated hashtags, you grant Parl Studio permission to
repost or share your content for marketing purposes (with credit).

12. Liability
Parl Studio is not liable for:
Indirect or consequential losses.
Event cancellations or outfit changes affecting your use of the item.
Our total liability is limited to the rental fee paid.

13. Privacy & Data
We comply with UK GDPR, the UK Data Protection Act 2018, and the Irish Data
Protection Act 2018.
Personal data is used only for rental verification, payment, and delivery.

14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of:

 Northern Ireland for rentals made in Northern Ireland or the UK, and
The Republic of Ireland for rentals made in Ireland.
Any disputes will be handled in the respective jurisdiction.

15. Agreement
By checking the box that states
“I have read and agree to Parl Studio’s Rental Terms & Conditions,”
you confirm your full acceptance of these Terms and agree to be bound by them.
